WHAT WE BELIEVE
TRIUNE GOD
JESUS CHRIST
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in one God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
THE BIBLE
We believe that Jesus is God’s only Son, fully God and fully man, was born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive today and will return one day.
SIN
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is present and active in the world and in the lives of those who believe. We believe he teaches, convicts, transforms us, and guides us into truth.
ATONEMENT
We believe sin came into the world when humanity chose to put themselves before God. Without Jesus’ forgiveness and our obedience to live obediently to the Spirit, people will always live selfishly bringing destructive results on themselves and those around them. Without God’s forgiveness, we believe people will spend eternity apart from God.
RESURRECTION
We believe that Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
SANTIFICATION
We believe that God can work in a person’s life so that they can actually be transformed and changed to be entirely devoted to God with a pure heart and mature character.
Atonement is a biblical word that means being made right with God. We believe that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, all of humanity can be made right with God.
We believe in the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which was spoken to people throughout history who wrote it down in their own context and language. We believe the Bible contains all truth necessary to lead us into a relationship with Jesus and help us grow in that relationship.
WHAT TO EXPECT
First-time guests at Grace often have lots of great questions. Here are answers to a few of the most popular ones.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Our church welcomes guests from all different walks of life, just be comfortable and tasteful. Jeans and a T-shirt are as acceptable as a suit or a dress.
WHO PREACHES AT EACH CAMPUS SERVICES?
Pastor Mike speaks at the Bloomington campus and the Pastor Shawn preaches at the Eureka campus. Both services bring something unique that everyone can take home with them as they start their week.
EACH WORSHIP SERVICE LASTS ABOUT 1 HOUR TOTAL. WE APPRECIATE YOU SPENDING YOUR TIME WITH US!
